Lau Acquisition Corporation
Joanna Lau is a director, trustee, CEO and entrepreneur with broad strategic operation and technology experience on corporate, private and public boards. She is the founder and CEO of Lau Acquisition Corporation, a technology development company and provider of debt and equity financing as well as consulting services to various industries. Her company was the first to introduce facial recognition technology into the driver’s license and secure document markets.
Lau serves on various profits and non-profit boards. Currently, she sits on the board of directors at DBI, one of North America’s largest designer, producer and retailer of footwear and accessories. She is a trustee of RPT Realty, a commercial real estate trust. She is a member of the College of Charleston School of Business Board of Governors. Her previous public board experiences include InfoSoft, FSI International, Boston Federal Bank and TD Bank.
