Susan Braig, Women for Women Summit presented by the College of Charleston School of BusinessOwner and CEO
All Broads Affordable Plumbing

Susan Braig is the owner and CEO of All Broads Affordable Plumbing – a female-owned and operated plumbing company that offers fast, friendly and affordable service with an added feminine touch. She is also co-owner of Al’s Affordable Plumbing, a family plumbing company her father started which services the Connecticut shoreline and specializes in water treatment.

Braig’s journey to success was not a smooth one. After making some poor choices, she found herself incarcerated on charges of second-degree robbery. She was sentenced to nine years in Connecticut’s only maximum-security women’s prison. While incarcerated, she took the initiative to pursue her education. She has since dedicated her life to education – her own as well as those who society has forgotten, the incarcerated and those at risk to become incarcerated. She strives to serve as an example of the change and personal growth that is possible.
